Recently, Stanford University and Elsevier jointly released the 2025 "World's Top 2% Scientists" list. Our college's Professor Liang Qian has once again been selected for this annual scientific impact list, thanks to her outstanding academic influence in the field of chemical engineering. This marks her fifth consecutive year receiving this honor since 2021. According to the list, Professor Liang ranks 108,043 among nearly 7 million scientists worldwide, placing her in the top 2% of global scientists. In the subfield of chemical engineering, she ranks 936th out of 87,981 scholars, with an H-index of 15 and an Hm-index of 6.94, reflecting the high quality and broad influence of her research outcomes. The "World's Top 2% Scientists" list is compiled by Professor John P.A. Ioannidis's team at Stanford University in collaboration with Elsevier, based on the Scopus database. It provides a comprehensive assessment of scientists using various citation metrics (such as total citations, H-index, HM index, and citations of single/first-author papers), covering 22 major subjects and 174 sub-disciplines, which has a high level of international recognition. Professor Liang's continued selection not only fully affirms her personal research capabilities but also highlights our school's academic strength and influence in the fields of chemical engineering and strategic technologies. All students in the research group extend warm congratulations to Professor Liang on her selection and look forward to working with her to achieve even greater success in future research endeavors!
