Dr. Zhuyi Wang is an Associate Researcher and Doctoral Supervisor. She pursued her Bachelor’s and Ph.D. degrees at Jilin University from 2000 to 2009. In July 2009, she joined the Center for Nanoscience and Technology at Shanghai University as a Lecturer and concurrently became a member of the Essilor–Shanghai University Joint R&D Center. She was promoted to Associate Researcher in 2012.

In recent years, Dr. Wang has focused her research on key materials for lithium-ion batteries. She has accumulated extensive expertise in the fabrication of multifunctional composite thin films, structural and performance characterization of micro/nano materials, battery assembly and performance evaluation, as well as in situ/ex situ experimental and theoretical investigations of interfacial structures and Li-ion transport kinetics in batteries.

She has successfully completed two projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), one project supported by the Shanghai Natural Science Foundation, and multiple industry–academia–research collaboration projects. Additionally, she has served as a core team member in several key NSFC and Shanghai Science and Technology Commission projects.

Her research findings have been published in prestigious international journals including Angewandte Chemie International Edition, Advanced Energy Materials, Advanced Functional Materials, Advanced Science, Energy Storage Materials, and Nano Energy. She has authored over 70 SCI-indexed papers, which have received more than 5,500 citations (H-index: 33). Two of her papers have been recognized as ESI Highly Cited Papers, and one as an ESI Hot Paper. She holds 4 granted WO international patents and 18 authorized Chinese invention patents.
