Dr. Yin Zhao is an Associate Researcher and Doctoral Supervisor at the Research Center of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, College of Sciences, Shanghai University. Her research focuses on the design and controllable synthesis of functional nanomaterials and their applications in electronic functional ceramics, electrochemical energy storage, and related fields. She particularly emphasizes functional semiconductors, piezoelectric materials, and ternary layered oxide material systems. As a principal investigator, Dr. Zhao has received funding from the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Shanghai Natural Science Foundation, and international collaboration projects supported by the Shanghai Science and Technology Commission. She has published over 60 SCI-indexed papers as a corresponding author in prestigious journals such as Angewandte Chemie International Edition, Chemical Engineering Journal, and Applied Catalysis B: Environmental, which have collectively garnered more than 2,600 citations (H-index: 31).She has filed more than 40 invention patents, including 4 granted WO international patents and over 30 authorized Chinese invention patents.
