Ranran Zhang graduated with a bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Engineering from Qufu Normal University. In 2022, she enrolled in the College of Chemistry at Nankai University to pursue her master's degree under the supervision of Researcher You'ai Qiu, focusing on organic electrochemical activation of small molecules, including CO₂, CO, and others. In June 2025, she joined the research group of Professor Maolin Li at the Frontiers Science Center for New Organic Matter Creation, Nankai University, to pursue her doctoral studies. Her research primarily involves the development of novel enzymatic catalytic reactions, integrating electrochemical methods to overcome the limitations of natural enzyme reactions and achieve unprecedented transformations.
