Yaofeng Hu joined the research team of Professor Maolin Li at the College of Chemistry and the Frontiers Science Center for New Organic Matter, Nankai University in July 2025 to pursue his Ph.D. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Bioscience from Hubei University and his Master's degree from the Institute of Resource Biology and Biotechnology, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, where his research focused on the semi-rational design and application of enzymes. His current research primarily centers on the construction of artificial enzymes, the development of novel enzymatic reactions, performance optimization, and mechanistic investigation.
