In this work, we constructed a novel reversibly responsive protein tag, which breaks through the limitation of inability to perform long-term imaging caused by fluorescence quenching in STED and other super-resolution fluorescence imaging techniques, and will greatly advance the long-term, super-resolution and dynamic visualization studies of drug target proteins.
