Under the guidance of Lu Hailin, Wang Hang, a second-year postgraduate student of the research group, published a paper in the Journal of the Second District of the Chinese Academy of Sciences as the first author. In this paper, the effect of CA as an additive on the plasma electrolytic fluorination process of 6061 aluminum alloy was studied. The results show that the addition of appropriate amount of CA makes the coating surface smoother, the friction coefficient and porosity decrease, and the corrosion resistance is improved. In addition, after the addition of CA, the plasma discharge becomes weaker. This improved PEF process using CA provides good results.
