Yesterday was an exciting day, when Hao Li officially started as a Marie Curie Postdoctoral Fellow at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Southern Denmark! Hao is funded by the European Commission for the next two years as part of Dr. Joe Alexandersen's research group, working on the advanced design of heat exchangers using topology optimization, multiscale models, and machine learning. During the project, Hao will have a three-month secondment at Professor George Karniadakis' research group to gain insight into how physics-informed machine learning can assist us in our goals!
