We held a technical exchange today with Denis Barbier, the CEO of Microlight 3D (https://www.microlight3d.com/) , on the advanced photolithography techniques and their application in biofabrication. Denis introduced the products of the two-photon 3D printer and maskless photolithography. Prof. Li introduced our progress on multicellular living processes in a complex physical microenvironment. We discussed technically how to build bio-compatible microstructures effectively. More importantly, we proposed a perspective together of integrating advanced microfabrication with high-quality live cell imaging platforms to capture authentic multicellular living processes under a bionic microenvironment that mimics the condition of the body.
