Xiang Li, Associate professor, master supervisor; Born in 1990 in Xiangyang, Hubei Province, he graduated from Xiangyang No.5 Middle School in 2008. In June 2012, he received his BACHELOR of Science degree from College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Inner Mongolia University. In the same year, he was recommended to study in State Key Laboratory of Coordination Chemistry, College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Nanjing University. He was taught by Professor Yan Hong, a foreign academician of Russian Academy of Sciences and winner of National Outstanding Youth Fund. During the postgraduate and doctoral studies, he visited Prof. Shigehiro Yamaguchi's research group in Nagoya University in September 2015 and Prof.Hiroshi Nishihara's research group in Tokyo University in April 2017. After his PhD, he worked as a postdoctoral fellow in Prof.Jishan Wu's research group at the Department of Chemistry, College of Science, National University of Singapore (NUS). In 2019, he returned to China and joined the Department of Chemistry, College of Science, Nanjing Agricultural University as an introduced talent. His major honors include Ulanfu Scholarship, National Encouragement Scholarship, National Doctoral Scholarship, Excellent Report Card of Nagoya University, International Exchange Award Program of Nanjing University, Outstanding Graduate Student of Nanjing University, Nanjing Gutian Chemical Scholarship, Doctor of Entrepreneurship and Innovation of Jiangsu Province, etc. At present, he has published 24 SCI papers, the main research direction is the design, synthesis and application of organic conjugated molecular materials, the design, synthesis and application of novel pesticide molecules, etc.
