Feng Li is currently a Professor at the College of Chemistry, Sichuan University. He received his B.Sc. degree (2006) in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Tianjin University (China), and Ph.D. (2013) in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Alberta under the supervision of Prof. X. Chris Le. In 2013, he joined the group of Prof. Weian Zhao as a visiting scholar in the Sue & Bill Gross Stem Cell Research Center at University of California, Irvine. He was appointed as a tenure-track Assistant Professor with cross-appointments in the Department of Chemistry and Center for Biotechnology at Brock University (Canada) in 2014 and promoted to Associated Professor with tenure in 2019. His research program is at the interface of bioanalytical chemistry and DNA nanotechnology, with the aim to develop better analytical tools to address meaningful chemical, biological, and biomedical questions. His research contribution has been recognized by several awards, including the Emerging Investigators in Analytical Science by Analyst (RSC) in 2016, Thousand Talents Program for Distinguished Young Scholars by Government of China in 2017, Early Researcher Award by Government of Ontario in 2018, and Young Investigators in (Bio-)analytical chemistry by Analytical and Bioanalytical Chemistry (Springer) in 2019.
