Dr. Hu received his PhD degree in chemistry from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology under the supervision of Prof. Henry Yan. He then moved to North Carolina State University in the lab of Dr. Harald Ade and the University of Chicago in the lab of Dr. Sihong Wang to do a PostDoc from 2017 to 2021. He joined Donghua University as a professor from 2021, focusing on the the design of organic semiconductors and their application in organic electronics.
