On the afternoon of November 19, the Chongqing Science and Technology Award Conference was held. The 2020 Chongqing Science and Technology Award was announced. Professor Hu Xiaosong, the head of the vehicle power system team of Chongqing University, completed the "Multi-scale Modeling of Vehicle Power Battery,  Estimation and Optimal Charge Control Theory and Method" project, and won the first prize of Chongqing Natural Science Award for this achievement.  Project participants include Academician Sun Fengchun and Professor Zou Yuan of Beijing Institute of Technology, Professor Li Shengbo of Tsinghua University, and Associate Professor Tang Xiaolin of Chongqing University.

Chongqing Science and Technology Award    

       The Chongqing Science and Technology Award was established by the Chongqing Municipal People’s Government in accordance with the "Regulations on National Science and Technology Awards".  Creativity, to promote scientific and technological progress in Chongqing, and to promote economic and social development.  The award includes five categories, including the Outstanding Contribution Award for Science and Technology, the Natural Science Award, the Technical Invention Award, the Science and Technology Progress Award, and the International Science and Technology Cooperation Award.

       In 2020, Chongqing Science and Technology Awards have won a total of 153 achievements (enterprise) awards, including: 29 natural science awards, 6 technological invention awards, 115 scientific and technological progress awards, 3 enterprise technological innovation awards; 32 first-class awards, two second-class awards  There are 60 second prizes and 58 third prizes.
