We are currently looking for graduate students. Students who obtain good academic achievements will be strongly supported by Yuanning for the application of awards and fellowships, as well as for the attendance of national and international conferences. As a result of our suitable group research orientation (synthesis and catalysis), the incoming first-year graduate student who will join the Feng group is eligible to apply for the Kenneth M Nicholas Graduate Fellowship, which provides a $3,000 stipend for summer research. Excellent students will be possibly supported to work as visiting interns in other great research groups. Students with strong self-motivation are encouraged to contact Yuanning by email (JoinFengGroup+PhD@gmail.com) with a one-page personal statement, CV, and contact information references. After contacting Yuanning, prospective graduate students are required to apply for the graduate program of the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of Oklahoma. The fall semester application evaluation window is November 15 - March 31 or until positions are filled. For international students, the minimum requirement for an English exam is TOEFL (minimum 550 for written or 79 for internet based, no older than 2 years) or IELTS (minimum score 6.5).
Incoming graduate students are recommended to choose the Feng Group for their lab rotation (seven-week long) in their first year of the graduate program. Both domestic and international students regardless of background are welcome to join our group.
