Xiang Chen Professor, Assistant to the Dean, Principle Investigator School of Materials Science and Engineering, Nanjing University of Science and Technology

In 2014, he received his Ph.D. degree from University of Science and Technology Beijing (USTB), supervised by Prof. Yue Zhang. From 2014 to 2018, he worked as a postdoctoral fellow and research professor at Yonsei University, South Korea, supervised by Prof. Jong-hyun Ahn and Prof. John A. Rogers. In 2018, he was selected into the "Youth Top-notch Talent Selection Plan" of Nanjing University of Science and Technology (NJUST); In 2021, he was selected into the High-level Innovation and Entrepreneurship Talent Introduction Plan of Jiangsu Province ("Innovation and Entrepreneurship Talents "). He is currently the leader of the research group on two-dimensional electronic materials and devices. His research area is the wafer-scale and controllable synthesis of novel 2D semiconductors and their applications in high-performance electronic devices.
