Chaoyu Chen
Dr Chaoyu Chen is currently a Research Fellow in the ShenZhen Institute of Quantum Science and Engineering (SIQSE), Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech), China. Dr Chaoyu Chen received his Ph.D degree in condensed matter phsyics in 2013 from the Institure of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, (supervisor Xingjiang Zhou). He worked as a postdoc from 2013/09 to 2015/02 and as a permanent Beamline Scientist from 2015/03 to 2018/10 in French Synchrotron Radiation Facillity (Synchrotron SOLEIL). He joined SUSTech at 2018/10. Dr Chaoyu Chen focused on the electronic structure study of topological states of matter and developement of cutting-edge angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy (ARPES). Dr Chaoyu Chen has done systematic and influential research in the electronic structure study and manipulator of topological states of matter, published more than 80 papers, inculding more than 20 (co-) first authored and corresponding authored papers in PRX, PRL, PRB, PNAS, Nature Communications. Dr Chaoyu Chen's publications have been cited more than 4800 times with h-index 35 according to google scholar. Dr Chaoyu Chen is currently in charge of one NSFC general project, one GuangDong NSF outstanding youth project, participating in many others.
