We are delighted to announce that Professor Sun Zhenyu from the Beijing University of Chemical Technology (BUCT) has been selected for inclusion in the 2025 World's Top 2% Scientists List (https://elsevier.digitalcommonsdata.com/datasets/btchxktzyw/8), jointly released by Stanford University and Elsevier on September 19, 2025.

The World’s Top 2% Scientists List evaluates nearly 7 million scientists worldwide across 22 scientific fields and 174 subfields. Selection is based on a composite indicator that includes total citations, h-index, hm-index (co-authorship adjusted), and citations as single or first author, among other factors.  

Professor Sun’s inclusion in this prestigious ranking underscores his outstanding research contributions and global academic influence in the field of chemical engineering and catalysis.
