Congratulations to Meichen Xu, the 2nd student of our group, for successfully defending her PhD thesis entitled "Functionalization of Olefins Enabled by Photoinduced Hydrogen Atom Transfer"! 

        During the last five years, Meichen made significant contributions to our group. She collaborated with Dr. Guangyue Lei and Dr. Qinglong Shi on two important projects and also finished another two projects on HAT-enabled olefin functionalization reactions. In addition, she finished an invited Organic Reaction chapter on Catellani reaction, which is very remarkable! She also helped us set up the lab and train our new group members.

       We wish her all the best in the next chapter of her journey! Congratulations, Dr. Xu!
