Kaifeng Du is a professor at Chemical Engineering School of Sichuan University in China. He received his PhD in Biochemical Engineering from Tianjin University in 2008 and then started his teaching and research career in Sichuan University and become a full professor in 2017. He was a visiting scholar at University of California at Los Angeles (USA) in 2013 year and Technische Universitaet Clausthal (Germany) in 2016, respectively. His current research interests are mainly focused on the development of novel supports (microspheres, membranes and monoliths) and affinity ligands toward the chromatographic techniques. He has published over 100 scientific papers and five books and holds 15 patents.
