Dr. Yuan is a Professor of Bioengineering of the Nantong University. He obtained the “Six talent peaks” project in Jiangsu Province in 2017. He is a senior member of Chinese Society for Biomaterials, Chinese Chemical Society, and Tissue Engineering International & Regenerative Medicine Society. He is also an ad hoc reviewer for international journals of Adv Funct Mater, Adv Sci, ACS Nano, Small, Acta Biomater, Mat Sci Eng C-Mater,  J Mater Chem B, Colloid Surface B, Compos Part B-Eng, and J Cell Physiol. He is interested in the research of engineering novel biomedical materials and devices for clinical application and using biomaterials approach for the regulation of stem cells differentiation. He is the Principal Investigator for 10 research grants supported by the local and national funding bodies. He has published more than 50 research papers, 1 book chapter, and 20 granted patents. So far, his SCI papers have been cited over 2500 times with an H-index 29 as per the ISI web of knowledge.
