With immense sadness, we share that Gian Maria Fimia passed away in Rome aged only 56 years on January 22nd, 2024. Gian Maria was a world expert in cellular and molecular biology. It has been a unique honor and a privilege to have Gian Maria Fimia as a colleague and a friend and we will miss him immensely.
