Solid-state electrolytes are zealously being researched in a pursuit to overcome existing challenges with solid-state batteries. Recently in Joule, Kojima and co-workers demonstrated a new concept that resulted in drastic enhancements in the conductivity of Li+ ions in a borohydride-type electrolyte.
