DNA-Coded Fluorescence for Color Painting RNAs

Fluorescent imaging methods are powerful tools for quantifying and localizing RNAs in single cells but are limited by the number of spectrally distinct fluorophores. In this issue of Chem, Li and co-workers use a DNA sequence to encode fluorescence by mixing different colors and intensities to build a colorful tag library.
