The cover feature picture shows a seven‐segment display that produces alphanumerical characters in response to a specific nucleic acid fragment. The display is made of DNA‐based logic gates that produce a user‐friendly read‐out of the presence of a pathogen and its drug‐susceptibility signature. The design of the logic gates is based on a split G‐quadruplex peroxidase‐like deoxyribozyme that catalyzes the oxidation of a colorless organic molecule resulting in a colored product.
