A thiophene analogue of isoindigo (TIIG) has been obtained in moderate yield by a palladium‐catalyzed C–H activation/oxidative cyclization sequence. Its copolymer (PIDTT‐TIIG) with indacenodithieno[3,2‐b]thiophene (IDTT) exhibits unipolar charge transport in thin‐film transistors with hole mobilities of 0.17 cm2 V–1 s–1.
