The Raman spectra reveal molecular vibration information. Here we report a special temperature-dependent C₂ wagging vibration at 225 cm⁻¹ in Sc₂C₂@C_s-C₈₂ by Raman spectroscopy and quantum-chemical calculations, which corresponds to the internal cluster motion in C₈₂. This finding is of great importance in understanding the internal dynamics of metallofullerenes.
