The cover picture shows an extreme simple synthetic pathway of Cu2O/Au nanocomposite and its enhanced analytical performance toward electroanalysis of H2O2. The nanocomposite was one-pot formed in a container by magnetically stirring a solution containing CuSO4, KOH, polyethylene glycol, ascorbic acid, HAuCl4 and water at room temperature. Resulting smaller Cu2O nanocubes (∼50 nm) along with Au clusters on their surfaces gave rise to a ∼5 times enhancement in responsive current in H2O2 detection compared to Cu2O nanotubes.
