Enhanced analyte detection: Three-dimensional mesoporous networks of copper nanoparticles decorated by graphite layers (Cu/G) are prepared through a polymer-assisted aggregating self-assembly method. The Cu/G assemblies attain a significant improvement in surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) performance by detecting analytes with a satisfactory level of sensitivity and reproducibility (see figure).
