Journal of Chemical & Engineering Data （JCED） 是报道定义明确的化学体系的相行为以及物理、热力学和传输特性数据的顶级期刊。为了让 JCED 持续进步，我们向世界各地处于各个职业阶段的研究人员征求意见和建议。JCED 的编辑顾问委员会 (Editorial Advisory Board, EAB) 由资深科学家和工程师组成，同时我们也寻求作者、审稿人和读者的反馈意见。

自2023年初以来，JCED 的早期职业委员会（Early Career Board, ECB）成员们加入到实现期刊愿景的队伍中来。ECB 成员均为正在冉冉升起的青年学者，他们通过思想、创新和观点为 JCED 的发展和成长做出贡献。JCED 的ECB成员是JCED的形象大使，他们为新计划出谋划策，并就早期职业研究人员感兴趣的话题撰写社论和观点。

ECB 成员任期两年，可连任一次。委员会成员每年将与 JCED 编辑团队举行两次会议，并将参加年度 EAB 会议。

申请/提名截止日期：2023年9月29日。

• Both self-nominations and nominations by mentors on behalf of a candidate are welcome.

• Nominators must get the nominee’s consent to share information about them as part of the nomination process.This is necessary for the American Chemical Society and ACS Publications to comply with laws and rules around the processing of personal data.

• The selection committee will only consider the materials submitted as part of the nomination as well as the nominee’s ability to represent JCED’s five thematic areas, various types of institutions, and global breath, diversity, and inclusiveness.

• The selected ECB members will be invited to join the Board immediately after selection in January 2024 and will serve terms ending in 2025.

• Co-author of at least one JCED publication;

• Scientist or engineer within 12 years or fewer from bachelor’s (or equivalent) degree

• A letter (less than 500 words) describing why you/your nominee would be an excellent candidate for the ECB;

• In the case of a nominator, a statement from the nominee consenting to the nomination and sharing of personal data in the application;

• A copy of your/the nominee's JCED publication;

• Your/the nominee's CV
