Multiple positions available for graduate students and postdocs in the new Nano-Cybernetic Biotrek (NCB) research lab at MIT. NCB aims to fuse nanotechnology, chemistry, and biology for creating unique nanomachine-bio hybrid systems for probing and modulating the body and brain.
Areas of interest include but are not limited to:
biomedical devices, wearables, implants, prosthetics
brain activity recording, brain stimulation
drug delivery
polymer chemistry, stimuli responsive polymers
functionalization of semiconductor or dielectric surfaces with biomolecules
functionalization of cell surfaces with organic or inorganic molecules and particles
actuation of particles in-vivo with magnetic fields
bio-robotics
protein engineering
bio-electronics
synthetic biology
