欧洲地平线2020项目SPaRK玛丽居里学者项目

欧洲玛丽居里学者项目是欧洲最具声望的博士奖学金，SPaRK博士项目旨在培养未来跨学科、跨领域的国际化（international, interdisciplinary, intersectoral）领军人才。

玛丽居里学者工资待遇

• 每年2万5千5百76英镑（共3年）；

英国女王大学（Queen's University Belfast）介绍：

英国女王大学是英国研究大学联盟Russell Group 成员之一。Russell group大学由英国最顶尖的24所大学组成,包括英国牛津大学，剑桥大学，帝国理工，UCL等世界顶尖大学。

导师介绍：

黄美兰博士现就职女王大学化学化工学院，博士生导师。长期从事计算化学与计算生物学研究。研究领域包括计算机辅助药物设计、生物催化、蛋白工程以及新能源材料的开发，已在ACS Catalysis, PhysChemChemPhys, J Phys Chem, Biochemistry, Proteins 等业内知名杂志发表论文40余篇，为英国EPSRC、BBSRC的基金评审。曾获英国Wellcome Trust奖，在牛津大学（Oxford University）理论与物理化学系从事计算化学研究。2014-2018获英国Invest NI资助负责女王大学-Almac‘计算生物及分子生物学生物技术平台’项目。

博士课题题目： 生物酶的理性改造及应用。

申请要求：

1. 申请日期截止前三年内在英国居留时间未超过12个月；

2. 未获博士学位，研究经历未超过4年；

3. 极好的英语口语和写作能力。雅思或托福成绩 （雅思总6.5，单科不低于5.5；托福总分90， 听力17， 阅读18， 口语20， 写作17）；

4. 与计算化学/计算生物学、药物化学、生物化学相关专业的背景。

A Horizon2020 Marie Sklodowska-Curie PhD scholarship in Computational Chemistry/Biology is available in Dr Meilan Huang's group at Queen's University Belfast.

Project title: Rational engineering lipases for industrial applications

The rational enzyme evolution project encompasses developing and applying computational chemistry/biology approaches to engineer enzymes to achieve regioselectivity, enantioselectivity and broad substrate scope, so as to potentiate immediate knowledge transfer and their exploitations by industry. The student will be involved in an interdisciplinary project in close collaboration with biologists from internationally renowned institutions and a global Pharma company, Almac.

The 3-year fully-funded PhD project has specifications on the following topics:

• Protein structure prediction and refinement

• Molecular dynamics simulations of biomolecules

• Molecular biology experiments via 6-month industrial placement at Almac

Marie Sklodowska-Curie Early Stage Researcher

PhD students funded within Marie Sklodowska-Curie programmes have the title of Early Stage Researcher (ESR) and will be employees of Queen's University Belfast while completing their doctoral study. QUB is a member of Russell Group comprised of 24 leading UK research universities such as Cambridge, Oxford and Imperial.

Salary:

The SPaRK programme offers a generousremuneration package based on a basic per annum salary of £25,576.45.

Eligibility:

• At the time of recruitment (Apr 11, 2018), in the first four years of their research careers and must not yet have been awarded a doctoral degree.

• Researchers can be of any nationality. However, they shall not have resided in the UK for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately prior to the reference date (Apr 11, 2018).

• The minimum requirement for eligibility for consideration will be equivalent of a UK 2.1 Hons degree/equivalent OR Masters completion. Outstanding candidates may be eligible for entry on completion of an undergraduate degree.
