Reversible redox chemistry of antimony complexes: Phosphine selenides form a complex with Ph3Sb2+ from which diphosphonium diselenides are reductively eliminated, forming Ph3SbIII. This redox reaction is reversible, as upon addition of Ph3Sb to the diphosphonium diselenides, the original complex is reformed (see picture).
