A colorful exchange: The concentration‐, solvent‐ and temperature‐dependent aggregation behaviors of poly(ethylene glycol)‐functionalized perylene bisimide (PEPBI) were analyzed. PEPBI exists as an aggregate dimer in aqueous solution or as a monomer in organic solvents. The reduction of PEPBI with Na2S is slow and the monoanion radical and dianion species are the main forms of monomer. PEPBI exists predominantly as a monomer in DMF and reacts with Na2S very fast (symbolized by the airplane shown in the cover image). The dianion species is EPR‐silent and its color highly depends on concentration in DMF.
