Design of magnetic core–shell [email protected] composites as a novel electrochemical sensing platform

Herein, magnetic [email protected] composites with core–shell shape were synthesized through thermal annealing of Ni-BTC MOF. On the basis of magnetic core–shell [email protected] composites ([email protected]), a novel sensing platform has been facilely fabricated using magnetic glassy carbon electrode. The magnetic fabrication of this sensing platform has the advantages of binder-free and easy preparation. The proposed sensor used for the sensing of hydroquinone (HQ) and catechol (CC) exhibits satisfied results. The present work provides a new perspective on the potential applications of MOFs-derived metal/carbon magnetic nanoparticles in sensor fabrication.
