To the Editor We read with great interest the article by Blackburn et al, “Outcomes Associated With Early Preventive Dental Care Among Medicaid-Enrolled Children in Alabama,”¹ in JAMA Pediatrics. Although Milgrom and Cunha-Cruz pointed at important shortcomings in their editorial,² we challenge the article’s findings using relevant methodological, clinical, and epidemiologic data.
