2019天然有机(药物)化学高峰论坛于2019年7月27至 29日在兰州大学大学生活动中心(兰州市城关区天水南路222号)举行。本次会议邀请了国内外从事天然产物相关领域研究的著名学者参会,并就重要生物活性的天然产物的发现与生物活性研究、以新药研发与资源型天然产物合理利用为导向的天然产物合成研究、天然产物生物合成与合成生物学研究等进行了广泛深入的交流讨论。课题组组长应兰州大学功能有机分子化学国家重点实验室(http://sklaoc.lzu.edu.cn)高坤教授邀请,参加《2019天然有机(药物)化学高峰论坛》,并作了题为《Discovery of Novel Polycyclic Natural Products from Plants and Microorganisms-A Case Report》的学术报告。
Abstract
Natural products (NPs) remain the great sources of drugs and drug leads. The caged (or bridged) polycyclic structural elements provide a variety of diverse features, encompassing three-dimensional shape, and assorted pharmacological properties, attracting great interests from the pharmaceutical scientists and shed light on the challenges of drug development(Chem. Soc. Rev. 2015,44,7737). Over the past decade, my research interests mainly focused on the chemistry and biological functions of polycyclic terrestrial NPs from plants and microorganisms (esp. endophytes), resulting in the discovery of many bioactive polycyclic NPs. Among them, nine novel polycyclic NPs were selected as “Hot off the press” in Nat Prod Rep. Herein, a case report on the discovery of polycyclic NPs from plants and microorganisms will be discussed.
